Tintype Photography

Tintype photography is an increasingly popular interest amongst photographers, using a method invented in 1850. These were all shot onto either 10 by 8 or 5 by 4 inch blackened aluminium. The plate has to be coated, shot, developed and fixed all before its dried, hence the name 'wet plate' photography.
